Academic Proficiency: Our students are grade-level proficient in Arithmetic and Mathematics, Language and Communications, Reading Comprehension, and the Sciences.
Individualized Learning and Curiosity: Additionally, our students understand how they learn and what motivates their curiosity. They receive individualized care in small classrooms, allowing them to progress at their own pace without pressure to keep up with others. They are self-directed and possess strong learning skills. Additionally, we utilize mastery learning so that students advance once they have mastered each assignment.
Individualized Tutoring and Classroom Coaching: Each student and parent will be able to access individualized tutoring through our partnership with Kahn Academy and Kahnmigo. Each classroom is staffed with a trained and experienced Lifepoint coach (teacher) who will know what type of learner your student is as well as their mastery level in each academic, character, and life skill area.
Life Skills and Experiences: Our students are exposed to a wide variety of life skills and experiences. Financial literacy and money management are integrated at all grade levels, along with nutrition, health, and lifetime fitness. Each student also learns Spanish as a second language.
Middle School Opportunities: Middle school students have the opportunity to engage in Business and Entrepreneurship, Blogs and effective Social Media usage, Homeownership concepts, Volunteerism and Community Service, as well as Career Shadowing.
Character Development: Most importantly, our students are coached and exposed to exemplary Character Building Blocks that guide their actions for a lifetime. They embody Respect, Gratitude, Integrity, Diligence, Compassion, Courage, Generosity, Sacrifice, Contentment, and Encouragement, which are deeply invested in their lives.
Lifepoint is not a religious school or academy: We believe it is the responsibility of parents to make these decisions for their children. However, all Lifepoint families agree on the importance of academic success, life skills, and character development for their students.
